• A DIARY INSPIRED BY THE ART OF PIET MONDRIAN
• ORGANISE YOUR DAYS WITH FASCINATING ABSTRACTIONS
• ENRICHED WITH QUOTES AND PAINTINGS FROM THE ARTISTS
Dutch painter and member of the De Stijl art movement, Piet Mondrian (1872-1944) used to say: "The coloured planes, as much by position and dimension as by the greater value given to colour, plastically express only relationships and not forms." In his pure abstract works we can see the characteristic grids of vertical and horizontal black lines framing the geometric forms in-between in the three primary colours. Inspired by the abstract compositions of lines and colours on flat surface, we use these ingenious combinations as a frame for a diary. While the complexity of constructed orders reflects the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the clarity and consequence of Mondrian's compositions invite equally straightforward planning. The art lover can enjoy Mondrian's works daily and learn more about the artist through numerous quotes which enrich the diary.
